Drugged in Jenny Star Bar ~ LB-69

I had the rather unpleasant experience of being drugged in Pattaya last year.
I was out drinking and separated from my mate who went home and that is the last that I remember of the night. He said that I seemed fine when he left, we had been drinking a while but he said that he had seen me a lot drunker and my speech walking etc were OK.
I was up near second road level with walking street but that is as much as I recall. A bar that I had never been in before and was just walking past and thought that I would get a drink, I think that it was jus before midnight.
The next thing that I knew was a LB was waking me up in her room. I was still fully clothed, the sun was up and she said you fell asleep, quickly got my out the door down a few levels of stairs and disappeared back up the stairs. When I got up I checked my wallet and she had left some small notes in there so it looked OK at first glance.
When I was down stairs I realised that my new expensive mobile was gone. I started to walk up the stairs but all the doors looked the same and it was still early so I did not want to start banging on doors. I was still pretty put of it and didn’t even know how many levels that I had come down.
When I got back to my hotel (didn’t have a clue where I was at the LB’s) I checked my wallet and all of my hidden money 5 or 6,000 was gone. I don’t remember talking to this LB at any bar.
I have also heard that the people that do this look for people just like me that night, alone had a few drinks, they drug you, maybe when you go to the toilet then follow you when you leave and offer to help you when you are having trouble walking etc. May not even talk to you at the bar, or the girls at the bar are in on it.
I did not feel good the rest of that day and it was a few days before I felt back to normal.
I thought that I had an idea what the LB looked like so I went outside Jenny’s bar in a few nights and I thought that I saw the one but she seen me watching from across the road and sort of disappeared. I was not sure enough to accuse any one.

Pretty scary, foe me I go out drinking by myself a lot so now no left drinks when I go the toilet, finish it or take it with me. When I think about it anything could have happened and I do not know what they gave or how much but I am pretty sure that I was out for a while. Live and learn.

sorry to hear about your exp in jenny star i had similar few times i went there last year january 2006
what happened was i went there and i dont drink i got there and i orderd some drinks for friends of mine and it was only about 300bht and i give 1000 bht to get change for later but my change never came back i had argument with bartender few times in the end he admitted he forgot to give me my change and gave back after a heated argument this happend about 4 times when i went there they forget to give u change back i have herd of lbs drugging there some of them are really beatuiful i was told by few of them which ones to avoid as they have history wth drugging clients and i know the police raid there at least 2 times a week looking for drugs etc so next time not drink to much much when u go on the pull they see u as an easy target when u drunk and cant control u self

This happened twice to me in Singapore. First one was via a kiss. Tha lady took some drink in her mouth and gave me a deep kiss.
Second was via wine I bought from 7/11. In the taxi on the way to a ST Hotel she must have put it into the wine.
I should have known but later you know better

I guess the moral of the story is when out and about in Pattaya don't carry a "really expensive new mobile", don't carry more than 5k baht in cash on you, and don't leave anything valuable lying about your room...which is pretty much the advice you would give to someone who has never travelled overseas before.

Nicotine in its pure form is quite toxic, used as an organic pesticide, and can be much more potent than even the highest quality heroin. However, there is nowhere near enough nicotine residual in ciggy ash to have even a very mild effect; keep in mind that even a whole cig is just a tiny dosage of the drug. Dropping a coupla dozen butts into a drink, then leaving it for a few weeks before drinking it might be sufficient to have some effect, but more likely would just result in violent nausea.

This story should be filed with those of strychnine contamination in LSD or ecstasy, and heroin lacing in ecstasy. In all cases, even if the contamination is present (in the case of strychnine and heroin contamination, these are largely urban legends*), the dosage involved is way too small to have any noticeable effects.

*I have seen one warning from the British health ministry (passed on by a friend, a British rave promoter) of a single ecstasy pill found to be contaminated with strychnine, likely occurring during transportation or manufacturing, but again the dosage is too low to produce a toxic effect, even if a person takes a large quantity of low-potency pills in order to get the desired effect (the maximum effective dosage is something like 2.5mg/kg body weight, but many pills contain only 20-30mg of MDx). Also I know someone who tried a pill with heroin once. She said that the pill had to be absolutely massive to contain even a small dose of heroin, and that it had very minimal effect (and she is not a heroin user with a tolerance for the drug; this was a one-time experiment).

last night I drank beer with ticks of ash in it. It was disgusting, but really nothing happened. No headache, no nausea no nothing. I certainly didn't pass out. Why I even did this? I am also fond of SM so guess that should explain enough, lol;).

If you go for Ladyboy hunting it's much better to do sober? You can make your pick a lot better and sex while sober just beats sex being drunk and have trouble getting it up. Just my opinion of course.

why do boardmembers go drinking/hunting lb's and take their expensive phones with them ?
and why carry so much cash, when its clearly very hard to spend that much in one night unless your a bell ringer !!

personally i stuff the beer bottle in my jeans back pocket, when moving about, 'don't know why, just a habit'
sometimes buy a singha from 7/11, put it in my rear pocket, then take it out when im in a bar.

and the bar girls are normally to polite to say anything about it Razz

The Bars have a hard enough time making enough profit to keep going so why not pay the Bar prices ? The cost of a beer in a Bar in Thailand is much cheaper than buying a beer home here in NZ , I'd imagine the UK would be even more expensive. Rolling Eyes

PP you admitted in another thread you were a Cheap Charlie....you were certainly not kidding !!!

it surprises me how people get so tight once they get to places like thailand, think about how much it costs you to have a drink in clubs at home. I know here in Australia its at least twice as much and you dont get the attention of a lot hot girls and lb's.
