I cannot believe guys still referring to the diary - it is now a history book.
Why read 137 pages of history?
IMHO |
The "Diary" has 137 pages, over then 2.000 replies/posts and almost half million views !!!, even with your's long time harsh threats - (sic) "deportation", "monkey house" and so on.
Looks like you're the only one who wants to stop it ...
I wonder why |

Pentire: what's happening? Now, i'm not Frank (or his son, depending on your mood) anymore?!!!

VERY VERY STRANGE both filipef and roca seem to be Franck. Stranger things have happened. So when do you think Franck will return to Thailand? Rocambole? Filipef?
Cheers

You can call me Franck, Franck’s son, Filipef or whatever you want but my name is Joao, Brazilian and I’m just a long time friend of “Franck’s” family.
I promised here before don’t post anymore since I had awful replies when I only tried to keep you guys updated with the latest developments of franck’s health.
(BTW, for the records, he made two days ago a second open-heart operation, hopefully successful this time).
Anyways, the main reason of this post is to sincerely wish in your new establishment-LA BAMBA all the luck that you certainly deserve, since you’re “felled into a trap” of running an LB venue.

Thank you Franck for your very kind best wishes for La Bamba. I wish you were there to join us.
We reserved one chair especially for you but we had a very hard time keeping all the ladyboys and customers from insisting on sitting in it.
Best wishes on the new year for you and your families!!!
Cheers,
Sam |

As you guys know, I had been communicating with Filipe/Franck for quite a while, but I haven't heard anything since December 11th. At that time, Franck had gone to Spain to recuperate. He was feeling much, much better. There was certainly no talk of any second operation. Also, from the tone of the last e-mail he sent me, it sounded as though Thailand (or at least Pattaya) had seen the last of him. Obviously, we don't know who "rocambole" really is (perhaps he's just who he says he is, perhaps not). The fact remains that if Franck isn't going back to LOS, guys like Batman4ever got royally screwed, which is a damn shame. Rocambole, if you are a "friend of Franck's family", do you know if there has been any talk of repaying people. Filipe told me once that everyone had been repaid except Batman (because he wanted to pay him in person).

As Rocambole mentioned above, he sent me a long PM. In keeping with the spirit of the Forum in particular and PMs in general, I won't mention here what he said. However, I can tell you that I sent an immediate PM reply. He still hasn't picked it up (it's still in my Outbox). The reason for this may be clear to readers of another Forum. I don't know if I'm allowed to mention the name of the other Forum here, so I will play it safe and not say it, but the news contained there may be proof positive that Rocambole is indeed Franck. This whole ugly saga may be headed for a conclusion. Let's hope so. (Can one of the moderators let me know whether or not it's okay to mention the name of another Forum here?)

Might it be a good idea to "lock" the thread so there can be no additional posting on it? Why make a new post to a thread that hasn't been relevant in over a year?
I think "diary" certainly should remain for viewing, as it does make for some very interesting reading.
Like it was said before, this is a "history" lesson and doesn't really require any further commentary.
Kilome? KK? Any thoughts on this?

We we're about to donate this thread to the British Museum.
We left it open hoping Franck would come back, He only popped out for a loaf of bread and packet of cigarettes, 12 months ago. |
