Sounds like the two of you had a great trip.
And she's simply stunning in the pics you've posted Tom.
You're one lucky guy having spend your holliday with her. |

I found that comment rather petic considering what we all do!! Shithole indeed - some very attractive ones as well.
I agree with some of the replies. When I first came to pattaya I hated the place and only stayed as I was meeting friends here for Christmas a couple of years ago. I liked Thailand but Pattaya was a blend of Dodge City, Blackpool and a hint of Las Vegas when ruled by the mob>>>>
I now live here - actually I live about 10 Kms outside and in a superb residential area with inddividual houses - not a village style complex. I have my own garden and pool and can be in Sin City within 15 mins.
Pattaya has some excellent bars for meeting people - Club131 and Stringfellows both have excellent reputations.
Pattaya has some of the best shopping malls and they are building 3 more. Multiplex cinemas Ripleys Belive it or Not (Pat Tire is in there with his motorbike). Ten Pin bowling, numerous restaurants and bars with both Thai, Western and Asian/Japanese food.
There are 19 Golf Courses 4 Driving ranges - boat trips to outer islands for good snorkelling etc
Food shopping is great too.
Pattaya is working on "tidying" up its image but you must give it a fair chance. Next time you are here and not stuck to the hip of a companion let me know and I will show you around. |

| Well said Rossco, people often give bad vibes about Pattaya due to the bad publicity. I have been frequenting Pattaya for 17 years and the changes are too great to mention. People who are in 2 minds about a trip to Pattaya give it a go, you might be suprised............. |

Hey - I'm green with envy: I've been trying to take a career break for a while. The only way I can seem to legitimize it - is by contemporaneosly studying. Undertaking some modules towards an MA. Maybe by distance learning. AND having, er, fun.
Anyone achieved this? I don't suppose that theres a Uni-type place in Pattaya - where you can use their internet resource for - OK - boring: learning stuff? At little cost. |

10 Pin Bowling - 2nd Road - go through Pattaya Klang (Central) towards Pattaya Nua (North) towards Dolphin Roundabout.
Festival Centre & Big C on your right - around Soi 2 is the bowling - you will recognise it as they have a BIG ten pin pin outside.
Watch your balls....... |

I think there is also another bowling place up near Walking street.
Can't remewmber the street name, it's in the 'Bowling' hotel, up towards the big buddah.
Of am I imagining this place? |
