I must admit I don't always check their IDs, but I like to think I can tell when a girl is too young, but I've learnt at a later date that I've taken a 17yr old before.

SOme of the LBs on walking street from beach road to Blue Ice (including Blue Ice) are clearly underrage and to be avoided if you're sensible.

not been thick, and not my thing young ones but what is legal age and what is the punishment if you were to be so called, caught in the act?

I asked the captain and he and his co manager Vivi check all ID's for their staff but, as with many bars, freelancers come and go.

That is a good reason for bars to post who are "staff/employees" versus Freelance. A bar owner has a responsibility for the actions of their staff but Freelance it is not so.

Some bars have regular freelancers and there is a good relationship between the bar and the LB (the bar knows they are of age etc). Many LB's just walk in to bars so there is no check by the bar.

The legal age is 18+. Unfortunately the authorities are very strict on this - the fact the person under 18 has obviously been in the sex scene for 2 years prior is irrelevant.

If in doubt check the ID - must be earlier than 10th June 2032
(as at today).

There is one other problem with LB's ID's - their ID may be prior to the "makeover" so the photo looks nothing like the person - so it could be they have "borrowed" an ID.

how or what you mean by 10th june 2032 surely theyve not been born yet going by that date of birth?

The current year 2007, equate to 2550 on the Thai calander.

So they need to be born during or before 2532 to be 18 in the year 2550 !
