Yes I was wondering about a hotel. I live in London but don't really want to bring anyone back, esp on the first night.
What are the chances of pulling an Asian ladyboy (without paying) at the club ?
I'm early 30's, so still decent enough looking. |

Well the Chamberlain is definitely the best value for money regarding hotels, and also the nearest. You shouldn't have any problems taking anyone back their.
There are plenty of Asian TS there on an average night. It's just like pulling a girl in any club really, they are there with there friends to have fun (a few are there as escorts to meet customers, but a lot of them would prefer a bf). If you're ok looking and approach them in a gentlemanly way, I'm sure you'll meet someone.
I might head down there myself either that weekend or teh following weekend. |

I could delay my trip a week if you wouldn't mind a wingman. I could do with a partner in crime as although I've dabbled in Asia the London scene makes me a bit nervous for some reason. |

OK, let me talk with a friend.
I know dirty Mike is planning to go towards the end of the month, so I'll speka to him and see if we cna arrange for a few of us to go together.
It's a very firnedly place and nothing to worry about, but it can be a bit daunting on your first visit.
I'll PM you my email address |

i went alone first time not daunting at all, very chilled out place, i arrived just before 11(cheaper then) and drunk plenty of beers before, for dutch courage, prices are normal in there for drinks btw.
11.15-12.00 is when most of the t-girls arrive |

Yeah, the atmosphere within is very relaxed and friendly (althuogh the prices aren't), I was more referring to the experience of preparing and entering your first TS bar in the UK, it's obviously not as open as in LOS. Charlies (the bar where it is held) is literally wayout in the city district which is the quietest part of London on a Saturday night. the club is also two floor down in a basement.
The busiest times have definitely changed. The club doesn't really get going until 11/11.30 (although oppen at 9pm), and now most girls seem to arrive closer to 1am, with the club closing at 4am.
On Fri 27th there is the 'Queen Of Nations'
a Beauty contest for TS in London, a lot of teh wayout girls will be there. It's at the bloomsbury Theatre in London

Some dispute over the Way Out Club drink prices. Do they serve pints ? If so how much is for one or how much is a bottle of beer ?
Bloomsbury event looks interesting, think there'll be much interaction or will it just be sitting at the theatre watching a show on stage ? |

I suppose if you are use to clubbing in London the drinks aren't overly expensive.
If my memory serves me correctrly, enterance after 11pm is £12. Drinks tend to be £4+, which as I said isn't expensive in comparison to some other London clubs, but it's much cheaper to grab a few jars from Witherspoons or The Chamberlaine, around the corner.
I was suggested to go to the Queen of Nations by a few TS at wayout, looks like there will be a few girls about, in addition to those on stage, but I'm not sure of the format. I'm guessing it might be a case of sitting and watching, as with most pagents, and then trying to mingle and get in with a few at the end, as I'm sure they will all be looking for a night out on the tiles after.
I might go myself and will let you know Franc. |

4 quid does seem expensive to me but then I don't go to clubs.
I noticed the Bloomsbury event begins at 5.30pm ! |

I may be interested in giving it a go. I think I can get a return flight for 50 euro so its fairly cheap. It would be a bit different than the usual rumble around temple bar. |

| I know DM is up for it, there is talk of having an 'after party' at the new bar which should be done by the bank holiday weekend. |
