I don't know about Soi3, but nothing "little Arabia" about Soi 2. Only has the JW Marriot and the (newish) Grand Majestic.
Stayed in the Grand Majestic last weekend (very nice, no Q's at all about my LB partner) .. along with the old boys from Liverpool FC (ian Rush et al).
Also, .. an easy cut across past Annies to Soi 4 and up to NEP! |

Pat is right of course.
3 and 5, but I wouldn't be that upset about staying in that area if you are in a decent hotel |

I would not say Soi 2 is little Arabia. It is quite western and hi so. I was also at the Grand Majestc the other week and had a good chat with Ian Rush! Highlight of my holiday for a born and bread Liverpool boy!!
If you can afford 3,200 per night, then this hotel is the bees knees!!! High quality service and very relaxed about "friends" coming to your room. Almost 5 star hotel without the snobbery. Will always be my first port of call in BKK now.
Soi 3 is the arab area. From the time I spent there, it seems fine to me. No trouble and if you like you Arabic food like me, then its a great place to be located.

Soy 4 (Which is Nana) Dynasty and Omni Tower Apartments are OK and LB Friendly, although the Omni is a Service type and En Suite Check Prices on line Higher up than Bht 2500 if I recall
I usually stay at Grand President soy 11 (5 Minutes walk from Nana) LB Friendly, no nonsense and again En Suite with Kitchen area in Tower 2 and 1. I nderstand Tower 3 is cheaper, Don't really know. All three towers have pools and Gym

| I've stayed at the Omni which is fine but prefer the President Solitaire in Soi 11. A bit newer and more plush than the Omni, and I actually enjoy the late nite walk back down Sukhumvit trolling for freelancers on the way home! |
