LJ, you have Mardhi's relationship with the Guess Bar wrong - Jay is the owner and Mardhi is her boyfriend - now that is a good reason why he can't go out with the Guess Bar staff.
Mardhi is not a co-owner, but I think he has given advice to Jay on some occasions - but she makes the final decisions. |

| Perhaps the legal definition would be a party with an economic interest in the bar. Do you think that Jay (who loves to spend money) put up the money for the bar? I have a hard time with that. |

This is a photo from the "Old" bar...Some of these girls are no longer Guess Girls...Does bring back some good memories though...
Jane on the far left, Jay's twin sister, is a sometime visitor...I understand that she is a traveling show now...Little Pear in the middle sitting in front of Ohm/Tom is a KC3 girl now and has had the chop...and of course, the ever lovely Eat, far right, has moved across the street to Temptations...And Fern, front and center, was absent for a bit, but she has returned with a new hair style and a few welcome pounds...
Jay celebrates her birthday this coming Tuesday with a big party...so I suspect there will be some new photos of the girls floating around soon... |

Finally got back to Thailand last weekend and was able to check out the "NEW' Guess Bar.
While I missed the more upscale ambiance of the original, Guess Bar remains a fantastic concept. Can think of few things better than a ladyboy lounge with good drinks, comfortable seating, friendly, low-key service, a pool table - AND sexy ladyboys draped about the room! Certainly unique when contrasted with the older NEP and Patpong venues
Enjoyed a few games of pool with old friends Ohm and Janni (who's become a bit of a shark on the table!) and drinks with Nam and the ever lovely Jay. Sorry to hear that sexy little Nui has a boyfriend now and is no longer on staff, but plenty of new talent. Caught up a bit with Mardhi and said hello to a few other LB 69 forum members and longtime denizens of the bangkok/pattaya scene. Unfortunately I only had a few hours in town, so I had to leave earlier than I would have liked in order to sample the NEP sleaze pits
I wish Jay and Mardhi all the best with Guess Bar and hope it can make them enough money to become a fixture of the Bangkok scene. It's just great to have a laidback venue like that with top-notch talent. |

I don't know about others but I have been paying 1500ST and 2000LT with no complaints from the girls and no negotiation. I do drop more than 400 on drinks in the bar though. |
