| Most pharmacies have both and generic versions as well. For instance apcialis is much cheaper that cialis and works just as well in my opinio. |

Just walk in, tell then what you want and pay the money. But I do think prices vary from place to place. |

The generic version of Cialis is actually Apcalis I think. It was 500 baht a four pack in some places in Pattaya when buying only one four pack. Other places were charging up to 800 baht. So you might try a few places until you get a good price. |

Yes my docter is in NZ but the free tablets will tie me over till I get something in Thailand.
Not sure I see the sense in paying the same for a tablet as I can pay for a LB or GG . |

I definitely wouldn't recommend buying prescription drugs (particular drugs intended for treatment of eretyle dysfunction) in asia. Asia has been flooded with generic drugs of poor quality and piracy-drugs that look like the original by pfizer etc.
At best you get a product that is equl in quality to the original, more likely you will get a product of poorer quality where each tablet doesn't contain the labeled amont of active ingredient or where the purity of the ingredients are poorer than the original. At worst you will get a product that doesn't contain the right active substance.
When it comes to the pirated products there's the same risks as the generic products. With the pirated products there's a higher risk of getting a product that doesn't contain the right active substance or at worst contains a toxic substance instead of the right active substance.
My advice would be to get a prescription from your gp before you go to thailand and to pick up the original from your local pharmacy.
WARNING: If you are suffering from a heart-condition, then do NOT use viagra, cialis or any drug that is meant to treat erectile dysfunction. It can be fatal! |

| I've had a prescription to both Viagra and Levitra here in the US. When in Bangkok and Pattaya I have bought both Cialis and Apcialis several times in different places. It all worked great. So perhaps I was extremely lucky or perhaps it was the placebo effect. But getting a prescription from your Dr. is not a bad idea as this way you get the appropriate checkup beforehand. But I will continue to puchase the cheap (works great) possible inferior product in Thailand. Just my opinon. |

Knowing what you are actually getting in SE Asia is a big problem. In Angeles City, Philippines you can buy five or more boxes of Cialis or Viagra for $20 US total (1000 pesos). It is packaged and looks just like the real stuff you buy in the US. It seems to work but can't be the real stuff at that price.
I use the generics when in Thailand, Kamagra or Apcalis (Caverta in Phuket, same as Viagra). They seem to work. I get the same side effects with Kamagra as I do with Viagra. But who knows what else you are getting. Bringing the real stuff from home is a good idea but quite expensive if you plan an extended trip. So I take my chances with the generics. BTW it is Apcalis (ap-cal-is) and not Apcialis. http://www.netpharmaworld.com/images/apcalis.gif
I called it Apcialis the first few times I bought it and got some strange looks. BTW if you are planning to be in Cambodia the generics are cheaper than in Thailand.
stonefre did you find Apcalis in Phuket? I tried three places and they had no generic Cialis. When I asked for generic Viagra they gave me Caverta instead of Kamagra.
It is very difficult to trust anything in Thailand as real. I took a beautiful girl back to my room and it turned out she had a cock. |

If I recall correctly Phuket is where I discovered Apcalis. I went to one place and asked for Cialis and they said they did not have it. I went to the big shop on the right across from the Pizza place on Bangla road and asked if they had Cialis and she said yes. I then said do you have generic and she said they had Apcalis. To be honest I could not tell the difference in either. I just know I was ready to go for a good length of time. Acutally I think the effects lasted more than 24 hours for me and that is saying a lot for a 57 year old man. I'm sure there is a risk as far as what you get in the pharmecuticals over there but how many other risks are we taking going there to begin with? My biggest worry would be is it going to work at all and if it doesn't they have to know you will never buy it again. |
