There is no reason why you couldn't stay in the guest house bove guess,if that is you budget. I don't think you'll have a problem with noise as all the bars would be shut before 2am.
I don't think it's on the web unless someone knows otherwise. I'm not even sure if I recall the name. Dirty Mike stayed there for a few days and had no problems. Fairly basic room, slightly better than what you'd get at Koh San Road, but clean and safe enough for a budget visitor.
The place I would recommend if you could go up to 1,000bht would be the Ruamchitt Plaza. About 15 mins up along Sulhumvit, still in the heart of teh action. Safe, clean rooms, very friendly staff and as guest friendly as you can get (you'd get strange looks if you went to your room alone), plus a lot of LBs seem to eat on the street at the enterance after cosing time. Also there is a ok swimming pool with excellent view on the roof.

| I stayed in that guest hotel back in March. It was fairly good. I've also stayed at the Rumshitt, sucked. I've actually decided that I'm just going to stay in the guest hotel above Guess when in bkk for 2 or 3 days. Otherwise i'd go to Dynasty which is just down from Nana. Excellent place. |
