hi,
im off to pattaya next week (lucky me) and wondered if anyone has stayed at the penthouse hotel, ive looked at the website and it looks amazing, go go bar downstairs, dancing poles in your room and mirrors on the ceiling , good location, and not expensive.
its located in pattayaland soi 1 which i believe is a gay area but the go go didnt look gay and its spitting distance to stringfellows, club131, triple x and walking street.
it said it was guest friendly but then contradicted itself by saying guests not from the go go would be chargeable.
has anybody stayed there it looks like paradise.

I used to stay there a bit some years ago, and its a unique albeit no hassles place to stay.
In regard to charging for guests, that does seem hard to believe.
I've never heard of anyone being charged a joiner fee before regardless of where they were from.

It's just outside the Boystown but surrounded by GG go-gos. Although I believe the owner is gay, not that it matters, it's extremely LB friendly.
They do try to charge a joiners fee if you are taking more than one guest, but Kitten Club Girls don't count. But there are obvious ways around it.
Personally it's not a favourite place of mine and for the price, you can get better deals elsewhere. The biggets complaints are that it's extremely tacky, the lighting system is insane and it takes forever to turn them all off, having to hunt for hidden switches, they always maange to tag on some extras to your bill, and the room is full of room service items, and it supposedly has a big cockroach problem (although, I've never encountered any there).
One plus point is that the swimming pool. It joins on to the Kitten Club Go-Go bar and you can order drinks and call girls in to join you - very nice touch.
