hi lads, just wanting to know, is it quicker to taxi back up from hau hin to bkk then fly to phuket or drive from hua hin to phuket. ?
if any of you can help.

I've never made the journey but Hua Hin and Phuket are far apart, I'd guess a good 12 hour+ journey by road.
I did a similar journey from BKK to Chimphon which was only 10 hrs and wouldn't do it again by car.
It seems more sensible to fly, either by flying to BKK and on to Phuket, or by Taxi to BKK and fly Phuket. |

Flights to Phuket from Bangkok can be so cheap even on a reputable carrier like Air Asia (sponsors of Manchester United ) and a little known fact is; It is possible to fly from Hua Hin to Bangkok just to speed things up even more. |
