More than likely you won't have any problem, however I don't understand why yourself and others don't simply book one of the "tried & tested" hotels where you are guaranteed not to have any problems at all with joiners of any category.
We have compiled a comprehensive list of hotels in both Bangkok & Pattaya where you are assured a hassle free stay.
My simple advice is to book & stay in one of these !
Sometimes the road less travelled is less travelled for a reason.
