And, starting tomorrow, I'm going into 10 days of intensive training in BKK & Phuket just to get ready for the grueling demands that will be placed on me at LaBamba! Since April-May Alis, our mamasan, has understood the problem with this girl and the problem she has when she pops the wrong pills. Alis has told me repeatedly that Chin is behaving correctly with customers and is no longer on her "crazy meds" I believe that there is some sort of bond between Alis and Chin from their days together in Club 131 that makes Alis believe she can control the girl. As the owner, I have told Alis in uncertain terms that one fuck-up and the girl is history and she has answered that Chin is behaving well. If that is the case or not I will not know until I have a chance to observe her up close on my next trip to Pattaya this month.

Unfortunately, as La Bamba is run as an extended family affair, drastic action like firing isn't so easily done.
