Come off it Costas ole chap, LaBamba is a great meeting place for us forum members, same as Ezy is. Sure it might not be kicking ass right now however, the likes of Sam and Karl have made significant investments in these places to provide us with a LB lovers facility and as a result, deserve our patronage whenever we are in the vicinity.
Nothing good can ever result from public criticism on this forum which many potential future customers are bound to pick up on.
Yes I enjoyed Club 131 during it's limited life under con man/sex pest Franck's stewardship, but it was never going to last once his creditors started to become suspicious of his hedonistic life style. |

yes mate despite everythink mention above which i agree franck was good with pr.Alis need to take over pr like she used to do and some one else take over casier.that will fix the problem.and i am not attacking any bar.i only make sugestions.

i have to agree with costass on running the bar.... Alis is quite good with pr ... let somebody else do the cashiering .... from experience running a bar... the bartender could back up as a cashier.. i ve been to la bamba i have to say i really enjoy being there as alis have been doing a good job... the only problem she seems to be doing everything herself.... just my 2 cent worths

| Though it is probably not fair to compare the two bars, I enjoyed my times at 131 more than I have enjoyed my several visits to LaBamba. Does that mean 131 was a better bar, I don't know. Though I do know I had more fun at 131 and 131 seemed more exciting than LaBamba. Perhaps that had something to do with the promotion of 131 on the forums which helped build the anticipation. Perhaps Costas is not wrong in that observation. It is good that LaBamba has been able to survive as long as it has which probably has to do with the fact that there is not one person draining the profits. Perhaps steady as she goes is the proper method of running this bar, but if one would want it to flourish one might consider more pr. I still visit LaBamba but I don't tend to stay as long and visit as often as I did 131. Just my opinion. |

good point costass.
old franck abagnale did have a good way of meet and greet and making everyone welcome.
only other person i met that plays the role of host in a similar manner, is jimbo in phucket. |

Last night at La Bamba was excellent, a really good relaxed atmosphere with around 12 customers and guests and 12 ladyboys who were all having a good time......personally I fail to see any issues here, another Ladyboy venue continues to do well and serve those who seek the solace that is offered...  |

| Every time I went to La bamba i felt very good and relaxed and also think that Alis is running this venue in the best way. May be some night is better than others but this can happen for every bar. |

I must admit I like the place but I did have a few gripes the last time I was there. A few of the girls didn't seem to grasp the hospitality concept and actually put me off going there.
Saying that I suppose I have to take some blame for not knowing how these crazy Thais do things - I think I put my foot in it a few times.
I'll be back at Christmas a wee bit wiser and lot hornier. I can't feckin' wait. |
