I was thinking something very different when i saw her pick.

Well, it would be a nightmare if we all had the same tastes in LBs wouldn't it? Seriously though, she looks great from where I'm sitting. Enlighten me, what's missing? Very Happy

As they say... beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Truth be told, I see some real horrors in people's trip reports and posts and some of the so-called superstars do zilch for me. But that's just my opinion.

If I have nothing nice to say I don't pass comment, plus less competition for the ones that I like.

Just to add; the amount of caked on make-up some of these girls wear looks dreadful in the flash of a camera, in the flesh they look so much better Cool

I think the photo of Sin is pretty accurate. I met her earlier this month and although I didn't BF her, I did chat with her for a while. She is a real sweetheart to spend time with. Pretty easy to talk to and is really concerned that you're having the "best time" you can, while at La Bamba.

For instance, while we were talking, she kept telling me that if there was someone else I saw, who I liked better, she would go over and bring them to me. No issues at all, in the event she isn't your cup of tea. Drama free!

All in all, she's a pretty cool gal.

How much is the bar fine in La Bamba? I know prices are generally lower than in Bkk, where I was based in February.

Also, if you bar fine early in the evening, to "reserve" your LB, do you have to leave straight away, or can you spend the rest of the evening in the bar with her before heading off to your hotel, or does this become LT?

As a general rule, once you pay the bar fine you are free to stay in the bar, or scome and go as you please. I would have thoght in most cases the bar would prefer you to stay and buy more drinks.

The only thing is, most bars will charge you for a lady drink rather than the regular price, should you buy your LB further drinks.

In a perfect world you are correct, but from my experiences I'd say a lot, if not most bars will try to charge you for lady drink even after you've paid the bar fine - in BKK and Pattaya.

I've experienced this just about every time in Nana, to the point where it's not even worth arguing with the bar staff. Just take it out of their tip Wink

Yes this does have to be the biggest Quasi Scam around, and whats worse is I've chatted at times with a number of Mamsans over it and many really just dont understand why its wrong. You end up feeling like your better off banging your head against the wall. Its the same with paying the BF and then your young lady starts running around serving drinks etc while sitting with you.

In fact now I remember I had this argument with a LB bar owner of all people who couldnt see why you shouldnt pay LadyDrink prices after you'd BF'd one of their staff.

Its a lose lose issue, most staff simply dont get why you object to paying and the BF'd GG/LB think your denying them the drink money and on top of that you lose face if you argue.

Even Kliome's advice isnt that great as you still end up being regarded as a Cheap Charlie by the wait staff as they wont understand why you didnt tip.

My best advice if your in a place that tries to charge, simply smile and say thanks then explain you really need to go wander and if you take your new friend to another close bar to the original one tell your companion you moved so they didnt have to feel guilty about not assisting in the bar work!

Oh and there is one worse situation that has nearly had me scream when I take a freelancer from one bar to another bar where they sometimes freelance and have them start trying to charge me LadyDrinks in that bar..

Laugh I've seen guys get into screaming matches with Mamasans when buying drinks this way, just think of it as a difference in culture. =)

yes its funny about the way they think...i remember when i met Oh...i think it was our second day...and i had already barfined her, sitting in 131...noticed that i payed ladydrinks for her...then i told franck that next time i saw that...ill go another bar... Cool

that helped...

but maybe even more funny was last time....me and Oh...(in Litas as everyday) were having a small party with Jimbo(from CD) and TTChang....and i found out that Oh had "made" almost 200 bath from ladydrinks they have bought her... Shocked

the next day i had a conversation with Lita....she couldnt see anything wrong in that..... Laughing

well...ill guess TIT wins again... Laughing

I have never been in a bar where it didn't happen (ladydrink prices) after paying barfine....i reckon its not worth the drama arguing about it ....cheers donnykey
