I've re-read the thread and it contains excellent information without needing to highlight imminent concerns contained in Thailand. I still maintain this post is relevant whether its an LB or GG - however there is specific legalities concerning LBs in Thailand which makes this even more informative. My understanding (and if incorrect I'm happy to stand corrected) is that this topic of "Warnings" was to highlight scams and dangers to BM's visiting Thailand or other venues. Regardless LB or GG... the buffalo story stands. The hardened hooker types of both category try that ridiculous story. I don't think it's unique to LB's... and my personal experience is that you are more likely to get that story from a GG, than by a LB.

What message, exactly, are they wanting to get across? As in - are they not recognising that for most guys this is anathema? Or is it just that they are sick of guys being upfront-sexual?

I had a LTR already , including a sort of Thai marriage ceremony in Issan : such a interesting experience all in all but .. I learned the hard way. I'm a lot more careful now but still feel that romantic appeal of a wonderful,seamless love-story with an lb ( much more that with gg, that would be too normal..). So to complete my vote I would say : Yes, I would marry a lb but.. the right one !!!!!!
