Can anyone recommend a fancy hotel in Bangkok, room price around 6000 – 7000B.
Preferable a room high up, so you get a view of the city.
It is for a girl, so no need for lb friendly.

Kinkoy,
Not wanting to tell you either way; but better value in the very well appointed apartments if staying for a few days (e.g. Centrepoint).
Other than that, depends what part of town you want to be in.
Sukhumvit: JW Marriot, Westin, Sheraton (good jazz)
Other areas: Four Seasons (great Italian restaurant)
or to be really old fashioned flash, the Oriental (also good jazz).
Try "wotif.com" for price comparisons.
Cheers

| Depends on what part of town but you can't go wrong on the Chao Phraya River; Oriental or Peninsula are my favorites and the Marriott Resort and Spa in that area is also OK. |
