Lita's Bar - Closed? ~ LB-69

So sad about this great bar closing, i spent just over a week in pattaya recently and was in there every night except on my last night when the bar actually closed.

It was always a great place for a drink and was always a good change of pace from places like jsb and blue ice, so i am hopefull that it will re-open but its not looking so good Sad

Chatted with the beautiful Jen today, one of the main reasons i always visited ths bar Very Happy

and she is not sure where she gonna go now but i hope her and all the girls get another bar to move on too. Lita's bar will be sorely missed on my next trip to pattaya.

Hi Karl sorry about the closure , it was a pleasure to meet you and Lita and of course the LB's.

I just read on another forum a post by someone who says Lita's Bar was open last night, only other detail is that Karl was not seen inside. Am sure more details will unfold.

I've been busy and out of the scene for a while but Lita's closure was a complete shock. I hope things are back to normal for Lita and Karl.

I seem to remember you had a really good time in that sofa area in tornado dix Twisted Evil

Entrox and I went wandering around last night and we of course stopped in to check up on the mysterious status of Lita's bar. It was open, and will be until someone buys it (or something unforeseen occurs).

Actually talked with Lita to sort out fact from fiction. Karl, his laptop and hard drives were not in the bar and it was hinted that he may attempt to open his own bar somewhere in Pattaya, sometime in the future. Let me emphasize, "MAYBE" as this is what Lita stressed. I'm sure when Karl is ready we will hear from him again. Even if Lita's new owner maintains it as a LB bar it will not be the same as it was Karl and Lita that really made the bar a special place to hang out.

As for Miss Lita herself, she says she wants to move to Hua Hin and open a LB bar there. She cited safety, a rising but mostly untapped market, improved police cooperation and better civic organization as her reasons for wanting to relocate. A few of the LBs seem keen to follow her to Hua Hin, Pancake and Fah indicated that they plan to go with Lita.

That's the latest situation as I understand it, so everyone in Pattaya enjoy the last days of Lita's before it is no more.

I've heard a few reports that there was more to this story than has been reported, however whatever the facts, I wish both Karl and Lita only the best for the future, regardless of what the final outcome.

Personally, sad to see the bar cease operating in the orignal format so many of us had grown to love.

Excellent update re: Lita's Bar YM - very thorough and clear.

Although not the best news, it is an improvement on the last know situation.

If a quality bar such as this were to relocate to Hua Hin, then it might just be enough to tempt me and other members down there to the growing LB scene. Last time I was in Hua Hin was 9 years ago and all they had then were caberets (that I was aware of).

Lita's wasn't officalilly open on 25th. A coupe of us met up to chat with Lita and the staff and she opened up for use for a couple of hours. Low and behold customers kept flocking in and regular customers were incouraged to stay.

As Yellow has put it Lita has decided to try to keep the bar active in order to encourage a quick sale, and she seems very set on relocatting to Hua Hin once Lita's Bar has been sold.

Talking with some of the regular girls there seems to be a rare loyalty to Lita and the bar from some of the staff, and many of them were keen to move with her to Hua Hin, should the move take place.

With Pattay still housing enough LB bars for us all, having a bar like Lita's in Hua Hin could prove to be an aweseom option for a weekend away. Mike and I have been keen to visit Hua Hin, but hesitant, having Lita's there would make it a no-brainer.
