Thanks for the update Yellowmenace, much appreciated.
I've heard a few reports that there was more to this story than has been reported, however whatever the facts, I wish both Karl and Lita only the best for the future, regardless of what the final outcome.
Personally, sad to see the bar cease operating in the orignal format so many of us had grown to love.
P.S. Please keep a close eye on Entrox, he has quite a reputation !
Cheers

If thats the so called report from Stogie Bear, you know you can take that with a grain of salt.
The info on this board is now far more reliable then the other board.
The info here seems to be less filtered and tempered with and seems more truthfull and i guees that is becauce the mods are more down to earth and have less self interest.
good work KK. |

Technically the bar isn't open, I think Lita is keen to remain in the bar and keep it tidy whoilst waiting for a slae, and continue to let out the ST rooms, rather than bring customers in to drink (although she has been letting regulars in for a few brewskis).
A few of the girls, Jen and co are working out of Blue Ice and the surrounding areas, but it still seems very much like the end of Litas, it's obvisouly not the same as before, but good luck to them. |

Saddened to hear the bar is no more. It was the first LB bar I ever went into. Always felt comfortable there. On my second last night in Pattaya I was in that bar to about 5am getting pissed and testing out Karl's extensive music selection. No matter what I requested he had it. He even had the theme tune to Minder. A Dennis Waterman classic.
Sadly missed venue but cheers for the memories. |

Hey Red, I remember doing something very similar, only not until 5am.
That Dennis Waterman folder; it was empty except for that one single song

The Little Britain sketches always had me confused till I saw the Live Show (Vid) and I saw he was as tall as Matt Lucas . |

Is Lita's Bar still open, minus Karl?
Any updates on whether it is still to be sold?
Such a shame and a major loss if it closes for ever |

Yes, still open for business, indeed I was in there last night enjoying a couple of quiet drinks.
Lita says the place is for sale. |

I wonder how long Lita's will remain like this for - Selfishly I hope until April at the least, obviously not what Lita hopes for.
How long does it take to sell a bar in Pattaya? - Are there many buyers for such an establishment?
I guess it's a case of 'how long is a piece of string', but as we know, Blue Ice is having problems getting sold too.
Guys always think they'd like to run a bar, but in reality I think most of us just want to frequent them, just don't want the responsibilty and the grief and hassle from the likes of those who fucked up Lita's Bar. |

I questioned Lita on how long it would take her to sell the bar and get an LB bar up and running in Hua Hin.
She said she expects it to take upto 6 months to sell the bar in Pattaya (from January) and she hopes to have a Lita's Bar up and running in Hua Hin in Autumn.
In theory it would be great to have a Lita Bar in Hua Hin, I'd definietly take the opportunity to see Hua Hin for a weekend. I hope it works out, but who knows.. |

From a selfish perspective the '6 months' is a good thing, as many of us have forthcoming trips on the horizon in April/May.
The Hua Hin option would be great and Autumn could be very good timing with the high season approaching, allowing setup and organisation to take place low-season - She's smart. I can see a number of reports and trips being made to and about HH should that be the case. |

What's happening at Lita's these days? Is it still open, minus LB's?
Has anyone seen Karl? I'd like to catch up with him in a couple of weeks when I land in Patts.
Anyone know?

I saw Karl about befor eI left, in fact the day I left he was whizzing down Sio VC on his moped, so I'd assume he's still about.
If I can find it, I'll PM you his number Auto and you can give him a shout when you arrive. |

I was there last Friday. It was business as usual (except Karl). Some nice LBs were here (Pan, Dada, Nut and others whose names I do not know). |

I'm guessing he just whizzed by and you didn't get a chance to talk to him kliome.
Did he see you, then head down and twist the throttle?
Maybe Anthony's lads at Howards were after him
Tornado's doesn't lend itself in the same way in which Karl used to chill at the bar on his computer in Lita's, so maybe he hangs out elsewhere. Like to catch up with the dude again, see how he's been.
I have a soft spot for Tornado's tho', I like the dark couch area in the corner, a place where fun can be had for the price of a few LD's plus tip, if you're not a cheap charlie. |

I popped around there on the first in the early evening. Wanted a pizza at the 19th... closed! Went to Lita's and saw the for sale sign. Jasmine was dead too. Maybe I was there too early. Got bummed out and just headed home. |
