What ye guys think of the heineken cup 1/4 final draws?
Saracens vs Ospreys
(i think saracens to win)
London Irish vs Perpignan
(a hard one, but i will go with irish as french teams never ever.. travel well)
Toulouse vs Cardriff
(I think the best match of the 1/4 finals, will be a cracker! even though cardiff should be shoot! for not going out today for the 3th try and would of had home games all the way including the final, i will go with Toulouse)
Gloucester vs MUNSTER!!!!
(munster munster munster..................all the way)
Only comment i have to say about these 1/4finals is (i believe a few of ye rugby fans will agree with me)
but to think you have the likes of london irish, Perpignan, Ospreys, gloucester and i could say sarries in the 1/4fnials and no lenister, Leicester,Clermon,Wasps, stade or barritiz is a joke!!!! this year with the seedings they really fucked up! throwing the best teams into the same groups and then having 2-3 really poor groups is a shame...
never yet has an irish side had an italian side in there group!
i think it is there for rather munster or toulouse to win the HC cup!
but watch out for cardiff!!!! if they had a home draw in next round they would diff be the dark horses... |

Apart from the word 'Heineken', I haven't a clue what you're talking about RJ.
Hope you enjoy it all non-the-less |

Yeah Cardiff were complete pussies today. They kept kicking the ball away in Bristols half with 10 to go. I have no idea why. Maybe they didnt even know they needed the other try.
I think it will be Gloucester or Toulouse to win this year. Gloucester have a class back line. But i think the Gloucester V Munster game very much depends on the conditions. If it is raining Munster will go through. I'd like to see london Irish go through as i have mates playing for them. |

I know, I know......damn Yanks.
. . . .and football isn't rugby either. Football is soccer. and this week was next week, last week.

Well RJ, the reality isn't the "toughness" of the game, its the advertising dollars that really stop the game. Its insane what the NFL games charge for 30 sec of advertising time.
Silly really. |

Ive played against Penn State, NYU, Harvard and Kellog. They were all about the big hits but they didnt have any hands. They were mostly ex footballers. Not NFL standard obviously. |

I played for boston irish wolvehounds when there for the summer, bar about 4 irish guys the rest were footballers and the backs were all sprinters.
they could not kick, catch and when u throw a dummy even the fucking ref brought it!
there just missing the basic skills we pick up here playing GAA in school.
standard of rugby there was pretty poor alright! fun thought! same as 2nds rugby in ireland |

A little bit off topic to your off topic but since you brought up American Football. Starting 1/31 will be attending several of the events including the FBR Open, Maxim and Playboy pre-parties. On Feb 3rd will be attending the game (Super Bowl XLII) to watch the Patriots complete their undefeated season. Next morning off to Singapore to wrap up some unfinished business. As soon as that's completed zooming to Patts ASAP.
Take a guess which of these I'm looking forward to the most (one hint, it ain't the golf ) |
