I wonder, if members of LB-69 had such sad experience, being poisoned himself in LOS.
for example, after eating in a fancy restaurant.
or after eating in hawker stall.
maybe someone had serious consequences - hospital, long treatment. and what did you eat, which caused such effect ?
as for me, i was not poisoned in LOS, though ate in many dirty places. |

| Back in 2002, my ex-gf took me to eat at her favorite footpath noodle stall near her apartment in Bangkok. I was sick all night after going back to my hotel - pretty bad since I had to fly back to work the next day. The flight was bad as I had to go to the bathroom around 3 times during the 6.5 hr flight. Lucky for me I took some Immodium before the flight or it would have been worse. It cleared up the 2nd day I was back. However this has made me pretty selective about eating food from the side walk cafes. |

Not yet in four trips to Thailand , I did spend a couple of hours on a toilet one morning but it passed so nothing serious .
I'm more worried about the really bad colds I seem to get every 2nd trip . |

| Yes once. In Issan. Maha Sarakham to be exact. In the best hotel in the province. I ordered a spicy seafood salad via room service. Forgeting we were no where near the ocean. I was in bits all night. Thats what you get for visiting Issan. Boring, boring place for an uncultured git like me. |

Never in Thailand. I'm assuming you don't mean the normal, run-of-the-mill Delhi Belly?
I have had amoebic dysentery after drinking toddy from uncleaned containers. I thought I was going to die... |

Lot's of times and usually when alcohol is in attendance.
IMO perhaps the biggest culprit for food poisoning in hot countries is not the food it's self but more likely various sauces, ketchups and mayo which have not been stored in the refrigerator. |
