The three so- called BJ bars are La Cyrcee, Mikado and Sophie's. Right now La Cyrcee seems to have the friskiest girls. None taller than about 1.50m. Mikado was closed and reopened last week, Sophie's is running as usual.
Svay Pak is still open, wouldn't advise any foreigner to go there though. World Vision has it's spies there and the police like the extra $$$, Khmer New Year's coming up
Best place for cheap hookers is Tuol Kork. 5USD easily gets you a niceish girl, no problems.
Is street 63 the one with the Viet massage parlours? If yes, it's still going strong.
Saw 2 LB lookers at Barazzo. Might be worth having a closer look. |

Sounds good! Where is sophie bar located? |
Corner of street 53 and street 118, go upstairs, knock on the door.

Le Cyrcee and Mikado are more ST bars. Mikado got busted over a week ago and has not reopened yet. Le Cyrcee is now take out only as they have closed the on site rooms.
If you go to street 63 make sure you know where your pants are at all times. Or better yet just take in only the money you need. Pants pockets seem to have a mysterious way of being empty when you leave some of the places. |

Just back from PP, saw no LBs at all. In general the GG scene is good; I stayed at Tonle Sap Guest House (Pickled Parrot Pub) and have nothing but good things to say. It is located a few steps from the river on Street 104. You could spend a week without leaving Street 104 and find a different cute and enthusiastic GG for every night. On the other hand there are lots of other areas such as the area around Flamingo Hotel. My favorite bar is Voodoo on Street 108. I'm thinking it might be someone else's as well.. On Street 108, Golden Vines and Zapata(?) could well be worth a visit as well.
There are quite a few sweet little squeakers in there who are only too happy to take good care of a farang with a few dollars in his pocket. From this picture, avoid the big one with the black dress - she's a nasty bitch, the one in green has a little acne, but at 19 has a stunning little body. The one with the huge smile is a great dancer and has good english.
The one on the far left is a fantastic tour guide, very affectionate and lots of fun, but do NOT let her near alcohol!! She is tiny and has NO ability to drink.
Lots of other areas to go in PP, I'll head back soon for sure! |

If you want some fun in Sihanoukville better take a girl from Phnom Penh. Not so much on offer at the beach destinations. |

I put myself completely in the safe keeping of a Tuk Tuk driver and he hardly let me out of his sight during five days in Phnom Penh He even, now get this....slept on his tuk tuk outside the front door of my hotel every night waiting for me to surface Total dedication to duty. One night when I went to Heart Of Darkness Disco, he suggested that I take his revolver with me just in case I encoutered trouble
After dark, walking between bars in PP should be avoided, infact one night he told me off for walking about 40 meters from one bar to another while he slept.
He even took me the 10km to the airport on his machine, I paid him $US 50.00 for the five days and he was delighted. |

Do as Pentire did. Get a tuktuk driver to be your regular driver.
You should be able to work out a monthly rate with a GH but 100USD is too low I think. 125USD might get you something. The cheap backpacker places are mostly in the lakeside area. Might not be your cup of tea if you're coming home with a different guest every evening. In the riverside area a room will be a bit more expensive but you'll be in the thick of it all. |

I've done the tuk tuk thing as well. I've had one really excellent driver like Pentire's guy and I've never had a guy that tried to rip me off. A couple of times there were additional fees because I didn't negotiate beforehand. For longer trips, I've also used a driver with an aircon Camry. I think EVERY car in PP is a Camry.
Do negotiate the daily rate beforehand being very specific about what you're doing and what time he is to finish. If day one is good, take the same guy for a longer time. If you're going outside of PP very far, DO get a car as you'll soon choke on the fumes and diesel exhaust. It also affords a bit more privacy for cuddling!
You should also remember that just like in BKK most of the girls or LBs aren't necessarily FROM PP and they may not know the city or surrounding areas much better than you do. Use them to translate, but don't assume they really know where they are going. That said, enjoy!! |

| the more i hear and i appriciate what you guys answering my questions the more im thinking thai again for my next trip over seas,, cambodia just sounds like its to sketchy, i like the idea that u cam smoke grass alot easier then in thailand but that about it, ive heard the girls arent as hot, arent as many, potential to get mugged, food isnt as good, im sure the joy of the people is pretty outstanding so i dont mean to put down a country with one of the most appaling misforetions in all of history to take ahold of them in such a recent past but it just seems like the wild west of asia has not that many perks,, u guys that have done both, were have u found the most happiness, thai or cambodia, im familar with phuket and bangkok, been to patts only for a day so its actually on my mind to explore that city of epic sin par none. cheers again for all the info. |

Stock up on the Viagra or just be ready to fuck nonstop 24/7. While it isn't by any means my favorite place to visit, there's probably more sex to be had here than any place else in either Thailand or Cambodia of any variety you are interested in.
In answer to your query, I live in Thailand but love the occasional jaunt to PP. I LIKE Cambodia very much. It's different than Thailand - maybe that's why I like it, but I'll be heading back there in July for a few days of GG hunting.
I've never felt unsafe there except for one visit to a brothel where there were about 10 layabout Thai guys outside...
If you're interested in Snookyville, best advice is bring a girl from PP. It's cheap and they LOVE to go to the sea. |

To tell you the truth I think Cambo girls are prettier than any other girls in the region except for Malay/Indon girls. And there are lots! In bars, brothels, karaokes, discos.

Don't know about getting mugged, this isn't the 90s anymore...
Food is lousier, true. Both Khmer and foreign food.
I'd give it a try though. Pricier than Thailand in most things but still there's quite a bit to see and do. |

I walked around quite a bit late at night in PP. Sometimes from the river front to the Heart of Darkness area without any problems. I though the food was pretty good along the river front which is more of a tourist area. The beef tastes weird like in Thailand. But that helped me cut out the cheeseburgers. PP can be a lot of fun if you go with someone that knows the city or if you do some research online before you go. |
