pattaya,s " friendliest " guest house.
stayed there on my last trip.
situated half way down soi VC. close to sunnee plaza.
600 a night, rooms have all you need. safe, aircon, no joiner fee.
and a bar downstairs, that isnt a bad meeting point.
2 minutes walk from walking street.
its a "gay" hotel, so nobody judges your choice of partner.
close enough to sunnee to check out the dark side.
plus, a good few lb,s live up that way now, since hole19 closed.
i found it was the right price, in the right spot, and the staff had the right attitude.
booked it for my next trip.
only strange thing was, a few lb,s accused me of being gay?
i said, "if a dog sleeps in a stable, dos,nt mean its a horse?"
they never quite got that one. |

I had a look at Anthony's room and apart from the didrt staines he;d made on the sheets, it was a good room, very good value for money.
But it is a gay hotel with several very friendly boys freelancing in the bar at reception, so it may be a bit much for anyone not so comfortable with that.
If you can handle that then it's a greta places to stay, as already said, awesome location, very firendly and laid back atmosphere, clean and safe rooms. |

I met the guys for a drink there a couple of times and found it ok. It was clean and friendly and a good location .
I'm used to dealing with gay customers at work , but I really dont think I could stay there . |

I actually wanted to stay at Howard's Guesthouse, because Lemon from Lita's recommended it. I ended up choosing PS Guesthouse instead.
But seriously ... I chose PS instead, because I needed a break from the Walking St area. Otherwise Howard's seemed like a convenient place to stay. The Howard's website looks interesting. Saw some strapping young lads there. Hubba hubba ...

It's a very small and 'personal' place, but witha friendly feel to it.
I'm not sure how many rooms they have, must be around 10-15, and the definitely don't have a pool, but I did over hear something about Goden Showers, although no idea what that means..
Are you thinking of staying there Batman?
It's a sound place and you'd be in good with Anthony in town. |

safe in room,
fridge, (no mini bar).
tv
quiet air con.
clean sheets and towels daily.
all you need really for 600 a night.
5 floors with a lift.
about 8 rooms per floor.
i did see a VIP room, and it was very large and impressive.
no pool, but apparently a garden roof terrace? (not my thing).
it was full when i stayed in january, it is a popular hotel among the older "friendly" europeans.
fem boy on the desk with side burns..
i have to say, the owner is so polite in the emails.
this time offering me a choice of rooms on different floors. |
