Tina Malibu Cabaret on the move ~ LB-69

I've been informed that the Malibu Cabaret has no officially moved.

Most people will now it as 'that Cabaret show' that had the didgy Tina Turner on the corner of Soi 13/2 and 2nd Road - you know, the street after Stringfellows and La Bamba'

It was always a nice place to start off the evening's adventure and there was talk that it was about to move into the bar opposite but it seems it's moved over to the bottom of Soi 10 (between beach Road and 2nd Road).

365/7-8 Second Road
Moo 10

Basically it's on Soi 10, next to the Siam Bayview Hotel.

I'm not sure if this is a permanent move but I go the impression it was.

shame to see the malibu show go, i had my first post-op from there, a superstar at the time called 'lisa'
then i shagged half the other dancers, ive still got the old malibu show on dvd, but don't know how to upload it here or youtube. ive also got 1 or 2 good clips of helen, before she moved onto bkk fame..
maybe some computer whizz could do it on my behalf, i'll be in los from march 26th

I've just got a further update.

The new bar wasn't ready so Malibu has moved back to soi 13/2 temporarily and they will officially move and open in Soi 10 at the above location on May 1st ..

I wonder if the end of the bar is going to hold up foranother 2 months.. Confused

hey kliome, i doubt the malibu show will find a better location than where it is at present soi 13,
ive been/seen the new location, and im not convinced they'll get to many passing thru 'type' customers.

you got any knowledge as to why the malibu show needs to move?

It's officailly moved now.

I have passed the new location a few times but not been in for the show. It's on 2nd Road just after Soi 10 (Left hand sid heading towards Naklua).

Anthony has caught the show at the new location and gave it the thumbs up. Perhaps he'll post a pic once he gets home.

Have been there several times now in the new location and it's good, but on the 2 nights I went they had different sets. They have had a change around of performers introducing some of the side-performers into more central roles and an overall re-shuffle with new music and routines, all-in-all great.

Malibu is very good and it's my favorite cabaret show, don't forget it's free too Cool

For interest; it appears Amy/Emma has tottered her way up from walking street and got a job there prancing around like a wannabe diva lipsynching to pop songs, hope it's only temporary

She's been working there on & off for the last couple of years DC Exclamation

Usually her act is trying to impersonate Britney Spears and I have to say that in the past she did look hot to trot.

picture was taken on the opening night.
you can see, some parts of the show are on 2 levels now.
had a chat with the owner about raising the stage a bit, dont know if it got done.
my favourite bar also, the staff are really friendly, and you can see the performers actually having a crack whilst working. the result being they get a lot of tips.

a few of the legends have managed to nail a couple of performers, not easy, but possible with patience and regular visits.
