Gareth, these problems aren't caused because people aren't clear whether they want long or short time or due to not discussing a price before hand.

This LB wanted to steal from him, full stop. Jimbo read the signs and got her out of the room. It happens to all of us. There are a few serial theives out there and a few more who hit hard times and can be opportunistic, but most LBs are OK and wouldn't suddenly switch into thief mode or see any of Jimbo's actions as 'problem causing'.

Gareth, a thief is a thief is a thief. Given the chance, she would have likely tried to pick Jimbo's pockets first and save the trouble of the room all together.

Jimbo did NOTHING to bring this action on (nor do I suspect most other BM's who have had a similar experience). Stop trying to blame the victim, FFS.

This situation would have occurred regardless, simply because that particular LB was a thief. From my seat, Jimbo did everything pretty much to the letter.

he got caught out happens to us all weather she was trying to steal or not he knows the signs what to look for as he runs a bar works with them so hes a bit more tuned into it than the rest of us if it happened to stevie or your self she probley would have gotton away with it does he have a picture of her so the rest of us can see what she looks like ? i never go to beach road late at night happens all the time there here of stories of lb trying to steal some times worse things happen he got off lightly why i blame him he did it to himself by going out at that time looking for sleaze.

Gareth, it was 2am on Soi4 near his hotel.

I wouldn't call that going out late at night looking for sleeze. 2am is the ideal time to look for a lady friend on Soi 4 once the bars have shut.

Jimbo didn't do anything most of us wouldn't have done.

still not good idea to go looking for trouble when u can easily avoid it how many have been robbed between 2-4 am in pattaya ? just cause they looking for a bit of slease or walking along beach road ? i know where he was thats also a hot spot for problem lbs he should have known beter

life is pretty good just people doing stupid things at 2am-or 4 am he actually handled the situation pretty cool and it got him out of shit where as most of us have been robbed at some point or another by lbs in some form or another and he did the right thing by not going to the police first thing they would have asked him what he was doing there in the first place and why he was out at that time in the morning then he has a lot of explaining to do and lot of hassle
as i said he should have known beter and he got off lightly and he is a pro after all and steve i just used u as an example because u could be in that situation when u go on u holiday very soon one night u go out same thing could happen to u maby u could learn from it it not worth the hassle even if it for slease

Your posts seem to look for trouble, it is OK to play Devils Advocate, though I suggest your discourse should be more constructive.

The BM's you upset are hard working members of this forum and provide extremely pertinent information and are always willing to help other members in the hunting field. You might meet them F2F someday in the LOS [good luck with that]

The thing is, Gareth, we`ve been calling my late-night prowl "sleaze", but for me the buzz is from the "unpredictability". When you go for a wander you dont know what you`re going to find or where you`re going to end up. Unlike in the bars/gogos where you know exactly whats coming.
The previous night to the Som escapade, i made exactly the same journey up soi 4 and along sukhamvit and ran into a real little honey called Lee(Li?) who claimed to work at Watsons store and was just eating with her friend along the road. This one came back to my loom and did not ask for a baht (i gave her 3000), she didnt steal, she asked before taking a drink from the fridge, she gave me massage, sat up talking after the sex, and was a real joy to be with. A total contrast to Som. You never know whats going to happen, and that gives me a real thrill.
Oh, and Gareth, 2 am is NOT late. I know of very few LBs who get to bed before 4 am.
