Stayed at the Dynasty Inn last year and really thought it put the NASTY in Dynasty.

Looking at Kilome's sticky, seems Hard Rock is likely the best upscale but not insane choice (e.g., $130-ish USD vs. Marriott at like $200-ish).

But I can't find a map showing where the Hard Rock is relative to the rest of Pattaya.

What was nice about the Dynasty was its relative closeness to the former Club 131 and now presumably La Bamba.

Any tips on a map showing HR relative to others?

Or any other tips on another upper-scale hotel close to the action.

Thx

Have a look at the LK Renaissance Hotel.

Only just opened, and its very nice indeed !

Certainly alot closer to the action than Hard Rock Hotel.

Infact the New Orn Bar is virtually at your door. Shocked

Should be able to secure a One Bedroom Suite for around $90 - $95 USD.

I know they were running some sensational deals a while ago, but not sure if still available.

Regardless, the one bedroom suite option still sounds reasonable.

Check out the link below, or try searching for other sites selling the hotel at discount rates.

I do know the hotel does offer reduced rates for longer stays (i.e 7 nights or more) but the websites may prove to be cheaper.

As good a hotel room as I have so far ventured into down Pattaya way and the suites are sensational, especially the Penthouse with the outdoor top floor jacuzzi overlooking Soi Diana...Now that is living alright Razz

Opoosite side of Soi Diana Inn to Areca Lodge but closer to Second Rd.
Soi Diana Inn links Second Rd to Soi Buakaow with the entrance being almost opposite the huge Mike's Department Store.

OK, you guys are great! Thumbs up.

I booked LK Renaissance -- one-bedroom suite for $88 USD via Agoda.

The hotel is awesome, room is awesome, location is awesome.

Only thing is via the Agoda link above, when you search for availability, the one-bedroom suite doesn't come up right away -- you need to choose "show more room options." This room kicks ass.

Thanks guys.

Actually, you really should thank "Thegame925" & "Rossco", as that's how I found out about the place.

I had walked past it many times before, but never gave it a second thought.

Glad to hear from another satisfied customer ! Very Happy

Cheers
