I'm an IT Engineer, was a partner in a successful IT Consulting firm during the dot com bubble. Bounced around on consulting work for a few years after the dot com bust and have returned to a job working for 'the man' a couple years ago. It's another start up which is my specialty.
The pay is good, but vacation time sucks. This is the first year I've had three weeks off since I worked for myself. I will actually get to spend two weeks in LOS in November. My company had me cancel my trip there that was due in a couple weeks |

Better talk offline about it
I'm on an average wage but am getting enough overtime to make things a bit better . Also have four weeks leave a year plus some extra for long service . Stat holidays makes things go a bit further over the Christmas break. |

Ok Gaz I will try and read your posts properly but when you edit them up to eight times it gets a bit hard to keep up. I cannot find the post you wrote so I made one up.

Does that sum it up? |

I'm Airline Cabin Crew for a well known, low cost airline, and soon to be cabin crew for a well known, full service airline.
At the moment, cheap flights and hotels through travel industry staff travel agents (about £380rtn with EVA). Soon, very, VERY cheap flights direct with the airline in question (£150-£180 rtn) Thus meaning, soon be doing trips to Thailand around every 6-8 weeks. Lethal.
Good job they are so cheap, 'cos I over pay for LB's when in Thailand!
And unlike most male cabin crew, I am straight. |

You guys all sound much more interesting than this long time Fishmonger Oh well what ever pays the bills , ST'S and LT'S. I used to travel to Bali twice a year and really unwind because i do long hours 6 days and work with DICKHEADS but since discovering the sweets of LOS i have made a promise to myself to turn back the ever advancing clock of " father time " and party my arse off in BKK and Patts every chance i get and never regret or look back |

| IT professional for an international corporation. Hope to retire in 4 years if I don't get laid off first. I plan to move to Thailand for 6 months once I retire and may stay longer if I decide after 6 months it is what I really want to do. |
