At 2-0 behind, Turkey were 957/1 to win 2-3 on Betfair Whoever laid that price shall be in shell shock right now. What a terrible howler by Petra Cech who many experts regard as the best goalkeeper in the world

Well somebody put up £6700.00 and offered odds of 957/1 for Turkey to win 3-2 when they were 2-0 behind with 20 minutes to go. The bet was matched so he lost the lot and some kebab shop worker got lucky. Even if that score had not been achieved he would only have won £7.00....However, the guy who lost the £6700.00 would also have laid all other possible scorelines in the match in order to offer a balanced book. What probably happened was that he was losing big on 2-0, so he dangled a carrot but the situation got a whole lot worse for him

I managed to lose £8000.00 at Ascot Racecourse one afternoon last summer, the journey home was a long one But I'm going back there for more on three days of the five day fixture which begins on Tuesday; Royal Ascot, the best weeks racing anywhere in the world

Sweden gets the clogs and of course will win. Portugal will be sent home after the Krauts game in quarter. And finally Croatia will send the muslims Turks back to asia. Forza Azzuri!

My main attention is focused on some fab horse racing here in England at Ascot for the moment however, for tonights games I have punted:- Italy to beat France 1-0 & 2-0 Romania to beat a second string Holland 1-0 & 2-1 I think I shall watch the Italy, France game in the first half at least.
