J-House is OK.

I have stayed there myself a few times over the years as well as using it as a short time base when opportunity knocks at one of the many Beer Bars close by.
No problem in taking back guests although they may need to leave their ID at Reception.
Ask for a room on the second floor (Ground floor is known as the first floor) because there is no elevator however, there is a real nice pool on the roof which is very discreet and comes in handy at night for a spot of skinny dipping Laughing
Location of this hotel is spot on, 100 mtrs from Walking Street sandwiched between Royal Garden Plaza and Best Friend Beer Bar's.
A good choice for a budget hotel on the edge of the action Twisted Evil

1.Very close to the Beach, like across the road;15 Meters Max!
2.Fridge-Yes. Safe Deposit Boxes are behind the front desk.
3.Some very nice and also budget restaurants close by selling both Western & Thai Food. An excellent Western Food/Budget Restaurant is Palmers in Soi Pattayaland 2 opposite Crystal GoGo.
4.Second Floor (Room 204) is best then third& fourth!

Enjoy Your Stay Laughing

Re: J- House Information

You should be able to negotiate a room rate around 600 Baht/night

Not sure of the situation currently, but was some noise from construction next door back in July this year ?

You couldn't ask for a better location, and the pool is a winner.

Cheers

Ask for a room with one bed as opposed to twin beds Exclamation 204, 304 are both good rooms with large double beds.
Unless you are a regular daily swimmer, you don't want to be on the 4th floor.
No joiner fee, and no restriction on how many Laughing
Oh.... They prefer payment in cash for your room and if you want a specific room, send them a fax/email; you shall find this place is very easy going.

Make sure you have a map of the J-House location because very few Bangkok Taxi Drivers are familiar with the location of these ''lesser known'' hotels in Pattaya.
