Just happened to be Dynasty Inn Bangkok and noticed they have a deal on this month, so I am on my way to Pattaya in the morning with the free transport.

That's BHT600 less than the usual price per night, works out at BHT1,280, minimum 2 nights stay.

Much more a truer value of this place, well worth the money for the location etc. - Ideal. Downside is that the pool is cack and the wi-fi is only available in the lobby and outside for those needing a nicotine fix.

Wonder if I'll get to meet gaz and westbam while I'm in town Shocked

Not Even For Free would I stay in the Dynasty Inn, those wood panelled walls drive me mad Mad

Who was it who once said, ''Either this wall paper goes or I do'' Confused
At the DI in Pattaya, I understand those words.

Cheers dude. It was kind of a last minute decision and will most likely be my last trip this year. Hope to be back again in January/February '09.

Mr. P - Wood panelled walls? Shit, I thought it was 3D wallpaper Laughing But I know what you mean.

I said to myself I'd never stay here again as it's 'normal' price is not relative to what it offers. But minus BHT600 a day is not bad and I like the free transport from BKK. Most likely only be here for 4 days then move on to somewhere else.

sev7en, I'll give you a clue, see if you can decipher the code...

On SDI between TOB and TNOB.

Hey DC,

Laugh wish I'd seen the post before leaving, I stayed at the DI Pattaya this weekend and they have a new monthly special for July its 980 Baht per night min stay 3 nights must pay at check in....

So paid 2940 for three nights Cool

I rebooked for August when KK is in town but there not sure if they will extend the offer into August. (I did get promised the rate if its available when I check back in for the 4 days and my lovely ladies in reception thought based on bookings so far it will apply in August.)

Note: Using the package option with shuttle from BKK sticks you into the higher rate for the first 2 days. Shocked

There are definately some deals to be had at the moment and I only stayed at the Dynasty Inn (soi 13) for the required 2 days with the intention of moving to the Areca Lodge, which I quite like. But as they were offering nothing in terms of deals I found myself at the LK Pavillion for the duration and it seems sev7en and kliome left an impression on the staff Shocked unpromted by me of course Surprised

Dynasty Inn, Pattaya

"Room rates are no charge for children under 120 cms tall occupying the same room with parents (If no extra bed required). Otherwise, an addtional 500 Baht will be charged for the third adult. "

Does this translate to a "joiner" fee for the second guest ??

I believe this comment is not specifying joiner fees, but referring to the people registering for the entire stay.

If you are registered at the hotel as a one single individual, Dynasty hotels do not charge for one guest (hooker). Subsequent guests (hookers) are charged at BHT500 each, per visit.
