For the last few years I have been one of these people who has visited this forum and enjoyed reading holiday reports / articles on every thing about ladyboys.
I think as a forum goes, it is definite...

Whilst I'm not formally involved with Ladyboy 69 these days, I'm certainly not aware of any plans to change things over here.

In essence, this forum is an "add on" to a successful porn site that generates income via memberships, so there isn't the same need here to make the forum profitable.

Personally, I would have no issue paying less than $50 USD for a years membership here or there or anywhere I enjoyed posting & reading.

When I consider the money I literally waste on other activities, it seems like peanuts to me.

I accept everyones situation is different, however at the end of the day the new forum owner at TLF obviously needs to make ends meet.

I would NOT pay and would immediately start a new forum myself if the forum of LB69 turned into a pay site.

TLF is dying on it's feet - the number of posts there are dropping rapidly whilst at the same time the number of obnoxious arseholes is increasing.

I enjoy some of the guys posts and comments for example TTChang but I have never come across so many arrogant unpleasant and agressive people in one spot for a long time.

I asked for all my posts there to be deleted as one can't do it oneself - not surprisingly my request was ignored.

Lol VIP room - more like the sheep pen prior to shearing.

Doubtful that it is on its last legs when it is still averaging more than 100 users logged on per 15 min now and this is with the changes coming on stream.

Whether or not this new model works depends on whether those who subscribe feel it is value for the money. If it is successful, you can be sure other lb forums will look at it closely. The TLF certainly has more information on it than any other forum because it has been going for such a long time and it is fairly well organized.

By the way PP's post is not correct as there are still several sections of the TLF that can be viewed without subscription.

I'm not aware of any plans for LB69 to start charging its users.

In fact, I'm under the impression this forum pays its BMs to post, by way of points (several of which PP earned by starting this thread...). Angry3

pay for what ? so people can lift the pics by a simple click and save then publicly attack another bm ?

I do not think any legal argument can be made. If you elect to 'post' information on a site then you are 'donating/contributing' to that site and your post becomes the property of the site.

They are, after all, Open Forums. You elect to post.

The site (site owners) can take action against those copying/pirating from their web site.

So, unfortunately, you do not retain any intellectual property over your own posts nor contributions.

I understand the reason behind TLF's change - some people showing photos/trip reports to those LBs featured in the report. This lead to the BM requesting removal of their trip report - what would a Forum be without Trip Reports.

There was a big debate, over on TLF, on how to resolve the issue and the outcome was a 'Pay for view' VIP Forum.

I agree that an annual subscription will deter the 'casual' user and probably most of the LB community - they will not pay 50 Bucks for access. Will it stop those people showing LBs the reports/photos - probably not BUT it will become more transparent which BM is doing so as the number of 'Paid Up' members will be smaller.

I shall be using this forum more often now. It's not the price that bothers me it's the fact that you have to pay for the interesting content. A forum is supposed to be a community where like minded people share information and ideas for free.
